These compositions were created on a scanner from live raw materials gathered in the garden.
I like to think of these plant portraits as a visual bridge between traditional botanical art and the digital processes available to contemporary artists. While acknowledging the influence of the Dutch still life masters, they also uniquely represent my personal stylistic interpretations. |
